Classy Data Sync

Set up to work with Classy Data

  • Choose Classy Lightning from the Waffle
  • Click on the Classy Control Panel V2
  • Click on Data Sync

Perform this task once a week

To make sure that all the transactions in Classy are synced with Salesforce, follow these instructions to make sure you are seeing all the Classy transactions in Salesforce so your reports will be accurate.

Select Data Type

Best to start with Transaction. We can come back to campaign. There are also data types that seem to be failing, but are of no consequence. We'll get to them in a minute.

Once the data job is complete, refresh the Results

Click the curled arrow. That's the Refresh button.

Check for FAILED api requests

I've added the Classy API Requests to the tabline on the Classy Lightning App. These need to be checked regularly.

Once you have looked at each of these, change the dates on the filter (looks like a funnel in the upper right corner of the page) to a different set of dates.

  • Click on the first transaction.
  • Scroll DOWN to the bottom of the Section called Raw Data. At the bottom, there will be the reason for the failure. If you can fix the problem, go ahead and do that. Then go back to Data Sync to see if you can re-sync the transaction so it will go into Salesforce.

Failures that are not failures, exactly...

This one can be ignored.
