Change Record Owners using Apsona
Set-up
- Go to the "Waffle" and put Apsona in the QuickFind Box. If you don't see it, you'll need to be added to one of the three Apsona users' slots.
- Setup > Home > Installed Packages > Manage Users
- Remove one user. Replace that user with yourself.
- When your work is complete, readjust the user list.

Set up the object you want to focus on.
- In Contacts, we have a "rename Owners" filter already done.
- Note the way it is set up, as you can use the same structure on any object where you want to change the ownership.
- Field Set: "Owners Included"
- Filter: Rename Owners
- Bring up the records with the user you would like to replace. Below, I've chosen Trish.
- Click the box next to the name.
- Click Search

Go to Tools > Update All

Add the field you want to change, and the value you want to replace what's there.
In this case, I'm changing all the contact records I own and making Leslie the owner.
Now just hit the update button and you're all done.
